FedEx Wins Award for Driving Positive Impact and Sustainable Changes in Thai Communities

Bangkok, Thailand, November 30, 2023 – FedEx Express (FedEx), a subsidiary of FedEx Corp. (NYSE: FDX) and one of the world’s largest express transportation companies, received an award for outstanding contribution to creating economic and social opportunities for Thai communities by the American Chamber of Commerce (AMCHAM) in Thailand.

FedEx received the 2023 Corporate Social Impact Award for the 13th consecutive year. The company was also recognized with the Platinum Level status, which is awarded to business entities who have achieved CSR Excellence for 10 years in a row. FedEx was acknowledged for progress in community outreach efforts through creating access to educational opportunities and supporting sustainability.

FedEx team members actively volunteer their time in community-based activities that focus on educational support, sustainability and environmental protection. These initiatives include mentoring young entrepreneurs on the benefits of international trade, providing career counseling for university graduates, donating electronic devices to facilitate online learning, installing recycling equipment to raise awareness about sustainability among students, participating in beach clean-ups to preserve coastal areas and engaging in tree planting to protect natural heritage.
