FedEx Express Australia Announces Holiday Shipping Deadlines

Sydney, Australia, November 20, 2023 – FedEx Express, a subsidiary of FedEx Corp. (NYSE: FDX) and one of the world’s largest express transportation companies, has announced shipping deadlines for the 2023 holiday period to support Australian retailers, e-tailers, small-and-medium enterprises (SMEs) and individual shippers beat the holiday rush and help their customers plan ahead.

Please ensure you send your shipments by these deadlines so that your shipments have the best chance to arrive on time during the peak holiday period.

Sending shipments within Australia in time for Christmas

For sending shipments within Australia, the deadline for sending Road Express shipments is 18 December (for Western Australia and the Northern Territory the last day for shipping is 15 December).

As for Priority services (9:00 Express, 10:00 Express, 12:00 Express and Overnight Express services) the deadline is 20 December.

The final deadline to collect shipments from a local FedEx facility is 22 December.

Sending shipments to New Zealand from Australia in time for Christmas

For shipments to New Zealand, the deadline for Economy services (International Economy and International Economy Freight) is 18 December and 20 December for Priority services (International First, International Priority Express, International Priority, International Connect Plus and International Priority Freight).

Sending international shipments from Australia in time for Christmas

For international shipping, the deadline for sending shipments through Economy services (International Economy and International Economy Freight) is 13 December and 15 December for Priority services (International First, International Priority Express, International Priority, International Connect Plus and International Priority Freight).

The FedEx Ship Manager (FSM) enhancement enable small businesses and e-commerce merchants to create shipments in a few simple and quick steps, saving time spent on manual data entry to generate shipping labels.
