SEOUL, April 26, 2023 — FedEx Express, a subsidiary of FedEx Corp. (NYSE: FDX) and one of the world’s largest express transportation companies, announced an alliance with TMAP Mobility, a subsidiary of SK Group and the largest mobility company in Korea, to support local businesses, small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) and individual shippers who are looking to expand their business to overseas markets.

Through the alliance, FedEx is providing shipping discounts to all TMAP Freight’s customers opening a new account and using FedEx to ship their packages commencing in May 2023. TMAP Freight’s customers will benefit from FedEx door-to-door international express services including FedEx International Priority®.

At the same time, FedEx customers who sign up for a membership with TMAP Mobility will enjoy access to the company’s new freight platform launched in February 2023. They will benefit from TMAP Freight’s nationwide supply chain network and real-time cargo management capabilities. The company will also offer discounts to FedEx customers who opt to settle payments with a credit card for their ground transportation services through the TMAP Freight platform.

“FedEx is committed to helping Korean companies grow their business overseas through our global network and differentiated services. We are excited to be the first global express provider to collaborate with TMAP Mobility to make it simpler and more convenient for Korean businesses to reach new customers with our competitive shipping solutions and advanced online digital tools,” said Wonbin Park, Managing Director, FedEx Express Korea.

On April 17, FedEx celebrated its 50th birthday globally and continues to expand its logistics solutions to support Korean businesses in expanding their presence in overseas markets. FedEx has tailored its services to provide flexibility for retailers and their end-customers through a variety of international shipping options. In March, the company launched a self-collection service*[1] for inbound shipments at 7-Eleven stores throughout Korea. Customers and online shoppers can enjoy greater convenience by having the option of picking up their FedEx packages at any one of the 12,000 7-Eleven stores of their choice at any time with no additional charge.
