SEOUL, South Korea, March 17, 2023— FedEx Express (FedEx), a subsidiary of FedEx Corp. (NYSE: FDX), and one of the world’s largest express transportation companies, has launched a self-collection service*[1] for import shipments at 7-Eleven stores throughout Korea.
At no additional charge, customers and online shoppers can now enjoy greater flexibility and convenience by having the option of picking up their FedEx import packages** at any one of the 12,000 7-Eleven stores of their choice at any time of the day and week.
Through the use of FedEx Delivery Manager, small and medium enterprises or e-commerce businesses can have shipments delivered to a 7-Eleven store closest to their customers for pick-up at their convenience, making their shopping experience easier and more pleasurable.

As an e-commerce powerhouse, South Korea’s e-commerce sales saw an 18% year-over-year growth in 2021[2]. Amid this trend, online shoppers are demanding faster and more convenient ways to receive their shipments, while unsatisfactory delivery leads to e-tailers losing their customers’ trust in them. This self-collection option can address the problems faced by both consumers and logistics providers.
