For sending shipments within Australia, the deadline for Road Express is 8th May (for Western Australia and the Northern Territory, the last day for shipping is 6th May); and for Priority services (9:00 Express, 10:00 Express, 12:00 Express and Overnight Express services) the deadline is 9th May.
The announcement comes as Australians gear up for the busy love-filled shopping season. Businesses are anticipating robust sales, with Mother’s Day being a significant milestone in the second quarter of the year. Despite economic challenges, Aussies are predicted to splash out $995 million on Mother’s Day in 2024, up 7.5 percent from 20231. Businesses expect a similar trend this year, too.
