DALLAS, September 21, 2009—FedEx Office (formerly FedEx Kinko’s), a subsidiary of FedEx Corp. (NYSE: FDX), today announced the formal introduction of its Design & Print Center solution, a digital self-service tool for creating and ordering custom business cards, letterhead and marketing collateral. This new application features thousands of design templates and is now available in-store and online, making it easy for small business customers to get professional print products that help create brand identity and build business. In addition, the tool is ideal for creating personal stationery and social calling cards.

With Design & Print Center, FedEx Office is providing customers with convenient access to professional-quality print products—including business and social calling cards, letterhead and matching envelopes, folders, brochures, note pads, postcards, notecards, address labels, flyers, and promotional magnets. Customers can quickly and easily customize any selected template in the Design & Print Center gallery or upload their own unique design. All orders are processed, shipped and delivered within seven business days via FedEx with no delivery charge. Customers placing orders in-store can also choose to have their items shipped to the FedEx Office location where the order was placed for pick-up at their convenience. For an additional fee, customers may request to have orders processed and delivered via FedEx within three business days.

“Professionally-printed products such as business cards and stationery make a powerful statement, and with FedEx Office Design & Print Center, custom design printing has never been easier,” said Enrique Ramirez, vice president, Marketing, FedEx Office. “The vast inventory of both creative and conservative design templates available through our tool makes it effortless for small business customers and general consumers to marry their own information with a design that clearly expresses who they are, without saying a word.”

The launch of Design & Print Center comes at just the right time for many small businesses striving to make a more lasting impact with customers in light of the recession. The second annual FedEx Office Signs of the Times national small business survey, conducted in early 2009, found that 47 percent of small business owners planned to increase their annual marketing/advertising spending this year as a result of the economy. Direct marketing campaign materials, including branded flyers, folders, brochures and magnets, may be ordered through the Design & Print Center, helping small businesses stay top of mind with current and prospective customers.

How Design & Print Center Works

Most FedEx Office Print and Ship Centers in the United States now feature a Design & Print Center kiosk. In addition, the application is accessible at computer rental stations in centers at no charge. Customers can quickly browse the design templates, customize their selection, upload logos and images from a USB drive or CD, and order the finished product in just minutes. Team members are available to assist throughout the process and transactions are tendered at the checkout counter. All customer service inquiries for orders placed in-store should be directed to the center where the order was placed.

Customers who prefer to place their order through the Design & Print Center online solution may do so by visiting www.fedex.com/designprint. The online tool is accessible 24 hours a day from home, work or any other location with Internet connectivity. Customers with questions about their Design & Print Center online order should call 1-800-Go-FedEx for assistance.
