“I was picking up from a busy drop box in the lobby of this big office building, and it wouldn’t open. I called dispatch and they gave me a few different combinations, but those didn’t work. So I just did what I thought was right. I took my hand truck, picked up the box, wheeled it out and lifted it onto my truck. When I got back to the station, we opened up the box in the truck and processed everything right there. I just felt it was my job. I knew there had to be a lot of people’s letters and packages in there -- they had to get where they were going.”
