Frankfurt am Main, June 22, 2009 – FedEx Express, a subsidiary of FedEx Corp. (NYSE: FDX), is pleased to announce that Kevin Rögner from Frankfurt am Main has been voted FedEx Courier of the Year 2008 in Germany. More than 1,500 customers of the world’s largest express transportation company participated in this year’s poll. This was the third time FedEx couriers in Germany were able to take part in the competition.

“Kevin Rögner is a highly deserving winner of the title of Courier of the Year in Germany and an excellent ambassador for FedEx,” said Bernhard Schloemer, managing director, Operations, Central and Eastern Europe at FedEx Express. “Mr. Rögner achieved excellent results for the assessment criteria ‘manner’, ‘politeness’ and ‘helpfulness’. In addition, he received many positive comments from his customers.” For example, Cornelia Willert, from the advertising materials supplier Idea Force International, wrote: “When things are really urgent, Mr. Rögner sometimes delivers documents and parcels to us before he starts his round.”

Kevin Rögner has been working for FedEx Express for nine years, most recently in the Mörfelden-Walldorf area near Frankfurt. “It is a great honour to win this award,” he remarked on the result of the election. “It is wonderful that FedEx gives us couriers the opportunity to receive recognition from our customers for the work we do.”

“We believe there is no better way of objectively assessing professionalism, conduct and commitment and ensuring outstanding customer service than to ask the customers themselves,” said Bernhard Schloemer. “On behalf of FedEx, I would like to thank every one of our customers for his or her invaluable feedback.”
