Gina F. Adams named FedEx Corp. Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – FedEx Corp. (NYSE: FDX) announced today that Gina F. Adams has been named executive vice president, general counsel and secretary, effective September 24, 2024. Adams will become the general counsel-elect on September 1 and assume the role on September 24. She succeeds Mark R. Allen who will move into a senior advisor role until his retirement December 31.

Adams will oversee all legal, security, and government affairs activities around the world for FedEx Corporation and its subsidiaries. Adams joined FedEx in 1992 as a managing attorney for International Regulatory Affairs and progressed through multiple international government and regulatory affairs leadership positions until her most recent role as corporate vice president, Government and Regulatory Affairs in Washington, DC. Prior to FedEx, Adams served in legal roles with the Department of Transportation.

In addition to her professional experience, Adams also holds positions as chair of the Board of Trustees for American University; member of the Board of Directors for the National Air and Space Museum; and member of the Board of Directors for Entergy Corporation. She earned a B.S. from American University, a J.D. from Howard University, and an L.L.M. from Georgetown University.
