MEMPHIS, Tenn., Aug. 31, 2026 — Today, FedEx (NYSE: FDX) announced the return of the fan-voted FedEx Air & Ground NFL Awards for the 2026 season. Now in its 24th year, the program will continue its collaboration with Feeding America® to celebrate standout performances from quarterbacks, running backs, wide receivers, and tight ends.
The Air & Ground NFL Awards program turns outstanding on-field performances into vital support for communities facing food insecurity, with each weekly honor resulting in a donation to Feeding America for a local partner food bank in the two winning players’ cities.
Each week, six standout performances from the eligible four positions will be nominated for the FedEx Air & Ground NFL Players of the Week Award. New this season, fans can also cast their votes on Instagram, expanding the ways they can participate in the program. Voting is open each Monday through Wednesday at 3:00 p.m. ET at NFL.com/FedEx, on the NFL Mobile App, via X (formerly Twitter) at @NFL or on Instagram @NFL.
“For more than two decades, the FedEx Air & Ground NFL Awards has demonstrated how the passion of sports fans can help strengthen communities,” said Jenny Robertson, senior vice president of Global Brand and Communications at FedEx. “Together with the NFL and Feeding America, we’re honored to continue this tradition by engaging fans, recognizing outstanding athletes, and supporting local food banks in communities nationwide.”
Since the program’s inception in 2003, FedEx has donated nearly $3 million to nonprofit organizations, such as charities and children’s hospitals, in the name of winning players.
This year’s continued collaboration with Feeding America supports a nationwide network of food banks, statewide food bank associations, regional co-ops, agency partners, food pantries, and meal programs. Together, the organizations are helping expand access to nutritious food for individuals and families facing hunger in NFL communities.
“Through our collaboration with FedEx, we are turning football’s best performances into meaningful change for families in players’ backyards,” said Elizabeth Pettengill, interim vice president of Corporate and Foundation Partnerships at Feeding America. “Ending hunger takes all of us, especially now, when so many communities are feeling stretched and uncertain. Programs like this show that working together is essential to help strengthen communities and build a future where everyone has access to the food they need to thrive.”
The season will culminate in the naming of the three FedEx Air & Ground NFL Players of the Year, announced at NFL Honors ahead of Super Bowl LXI in Los Angeles, California.
“For 24 years, the NFL and FedEx have worked together to recognize outstanding talent across the league while creating meaningful impact in our community,” said Tracie Rodburg, senior vice president of global partnerships at the NFL. “FedEx is dedicated to celebrating excellence and investing in communities across the country and this reflects the shared values of our fans and the entire league.”
