FedEx SME Connect Program Empowers Small Businesses to Access New Possibilities

UDAIPUR, November 15, 2019 — FedEx Express, the world’s largest express transportation company and a subsidiary of FedEx Corp. (NYSE: FDX), as a part of its ongoing commitment to support SME growth in India, brings its ‘SME Connect’ Program to Udaipur, Rajasthan. The ‘SME Connect’ program is a thought leadership and knowledge sharing platform for SMEs to interact with industry and subject matter experts for solution oriented discussions that impact their business.
The Rajasthan government reports that more than 10,000 MSME businesses are registered in Udaipur, providing direct employment to over 65,000 people, with the majority contributors in service and repairing sector, textiles, minerals, rubber plastic petroleum and chemical, and agro based industries.1
The theme for the session in Udaipur is ‘Working Capital Management’, with leading industry experts and entrepreneurs sharing their business insights on the cycle of working capital, key challenges, tax structure impact, and the role of logistics in efficient working capital management, among others.
Each ‘SME Connect’ program focuses on addressing specially curated topics through panel discussions with industry experts, in their journey to grow their business.
