Seoul, March 07, 2022 — FedEx Express, a subsidiary of FedEx Corp. (NYSE: FDX) and one of the world’s largest express transportation companies, has successfully been recertified as a Family-Friendly Company by the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family of the Republic of Korea (MOGEF) for the third time consecutively.

To be certified, a company must meet three criteria as follows:

  • Leadership of top executives
  • Practice of family-friendly policies
  • Employee satisfaction with family-friendly management

Employee satisfaction is verified with current employees who respond to questions related to support for maternity leave and raising children, a flexible workplace and whether a family-friendly culture is being fostered at work.

“We are honored to receive this recognition, which is driven by our People-Service-Profit (PSP) philosophy of putting our people first and creating a supportive work environment for our team members. This includes offering programs to enable our teams to achieve work-life balance such as tuition reimbursement for dependents, leave of absence for family- related needs including childcare or family-member care, flexible work-from-home arrangements and community volunteering options,” said Eun-mi Chae, managing director of FedEx Express Korea. “This certification is testament to our commitment to be a good employer and a key factor for talent recruitment into the future. Despite the demands the pandemic has put on the logistics industry, as essential workers, our team members have risen to the challenges by being agile and resilient so FedEx can continue to deliver outstanding service for customers.”
