HANOI, October 30, 2019 – FedEx Express, a subsidiary of FedEx Corp. (NYSE: FDX) and the world’s largest express transportation company, today received the 2019 Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Award from the American Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (AmCham). The annual program recognizes AmCham member companies in Vietnam that demonstrate a commitment to transparency, good governance, impactful community outreach initiatives, and sustainable business practices.

“At FedEx, our goal is to enable hope, change and new possibilities in the communities we serve. We believe that by combining our business and logistics expertise with the passion of our team members, we can deliver positive changes in Vietnam.” said Hardy Diec, managing director, FedEx Express Indochina. “This award inspires us to continue our community outreach initiatives through the FedEx Cares global charity giving program. The AmCham CSR Award would not be possible without the dedication and efforts of our NGO partners and FedEx team members.”

FedEx Vietnam’s charitable efforts support the recently launched FedEx Cares 50 by 50, a goal to make a positive impact on 50 million people around the world by the company’s anniversary in 2023. FedEx Vietnam is already contributing to the goal through its participation in global FedEx Cares initiatives such as FedEx/Junior Achievement International Trade Challenge, FedEx - Safe Kids AIP Walk This Way program, and FedEx Delivers Heartbeats.
