FEDEX RECEIVES 2013 CSO40 AWARD FROM IDG’S CSO MAGAZINE

MEMPHIS, Tenn., Feb. 4, 2013 –FedEx Corp. (NYSE: FDX) has been named a recipient of the 2013 CSO40 Award from IDG’s CSO magazine. The honor is bestowed upon a select group of organizations that have demonstrated business value and thought leadership in security projects and initiatives.

FedEx is recognized for its Email Security Program (ESP), a solution developed to address fraudulently-branded emails containing malware or phishing attacks impacting FedEx customers. Since its inception in 2012, the program has delivered customer benefits, process improvements and an overall reduction in transportation industry-related malware.
