FedEx Reaffirms its Commitment to Small and Medium Businesses in Latin America and Caribbean

MIAMI , December 13, 2006 -- FedEx Express, the world’s largest Express transport and global logistics solutions provider, makes the benefits from their PyMEx program even more accessible to small and medium exporting businesses throughout the Latin American and Caribbean region via its new website tailored for the program’s members.


The new website, available in English, Spanish and Portuguese, launched on November 1st and is open to all FedEx PyMEx members in nine countries throughout the Latin American and Caribbean Region, including Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Mexico, Puerto Rico and Venezuela, and will include content specific to each of these countries.


FedEx PyMEx members will have access to top-of-the-line online consultancy via the new website’s forums and chat services. The website will also serve as a document archive for pieces about exporting and other relevant topics. The FedEx PyMEx Program originally launched in Mexico and has since expanded to include several countries in the Latin American and Caribbean Region.
