FedEx Office Director Manish Kapoor Named “Xplorer of the Year” by Xplor International for Service and Dedication

DALLAS, May 11, 2011 — Manish Kapoor, managing director of Network Operations for FedEx Office, an operating company of FedEx Corp. (NYSE: FDX), was recently presented with the “Xplorer of the Year” award by Xplor International, a worldwide, not-for-profit electronic document systems professional association. The award is given each year at Xplor’s annual conference and recognizes members for their volunteer service to the association, dedication to the Xplor mission and promotion of the interests of the electronic document systems industry.

Kapoor has been with FedEx Office since 2007. In his current role, he is responsible for managing the company’s digital document business, including the automation of its digitally-connected network of more than 1,900 retail locations and centralized production centers. He also oversees the national operations of the company’s local pickup and delivery system, along with operations engineering and custom solutions groups.

As a member of Xplor since 1997, Kapoor serves as president of the Southern Region Board and has led the effort to revitalize the association’s presence in the southern part of the U.S.— including initiatives designed to grow membership and expand programming. In 2001, Kapoor earned the prestigious Electronic Document Professional (EDP) certification by Xplor International and was recertified in 2007. He also was granted the Technical Association of the Graphic Arts (TAGA) Fellowship Award in 1997. Kapoor is a fourth-generation printer and has an extensive background in digital and Web-to-print technologies.
