FedEx New Zealand Named Best Employer For Twelfth Consecutive Year

AUCKLAND, New Zealand, September 13, 2019 – FedEx Express, a subsidiary of FedEx Corp. (NYSE: FDX) and the world’s largest express transportation company, has been named a Best Employer in New Zealand by Aon Hewitt.

The Best Employer certification process assesses organisations against four critical areas: employee engagement, organisational agility, leadership engagement and a talent-focused culture. Organisations must score more than 75% on engagement and at least two of the other areas to be certified.

FedEx Express New Zealand achieved an engagement score of 79% and employees specifically registered high scores in relation to how FedEx New Zealand manages Diversity & Inclusion and Performance Management.

In addition to being awarded the 2019 Aon Best Employer in Australia and New Zealand, FedEx was also recognised by Aon Hewitt as one of the ‘Best Employers in Asia-Pacific’ in 2017. Last year, the company was ranked 10th in Fortune magazine’s ‘World’s Most Admired Companies’ survey.
