FedEx Media Alert: Students in Singapore Discover Nature at Pulau Ubin Sensory Trail with Guides from FedEx

SINGAPORE— Over 60 children had a back-to-nature experience through guided tours at the Pulau Ubin Sensory Trail last month. Sponsored and hosted by FedEx, these students from Ang Mo Kio Family Service Centre and Beyond Social Services. experienced the beauty of nature through their different senses along the sensory trail. The children were able to touch, see, smell and even taste the trees, spices and herbs found along the sensory trail.

Eleven FedEx volunteers were specially trained as nature guides by Nature Society of Singapore (NSS) experts. This nature outreach is part of FedEx commitment to promote nature appreciation for underpriviledged students in Singapore. FedEx is partnering with The Nature Society to reach out to 300 students and their families through this program.
