FedEx Korea Selected as Puchon International Student Animation Festival (PISAF) Official Carrier

SEOUL, November XX, 2011— FedEx Express, a subsidiary of FedEx Corp. (NYSE: FDX) and the world’s largest express transportation company, announced on November XX/ today that the company was selected as the official carrier for the 13th Puchon International Student Animation Festival (PISAF). The festival will be held at the Korea Manwha Museum in Puchon from November 4 to 8.
FedEx Korea will participate in the festival as the official carrier and as a Gold Sponsor. For this Festival, the company will be responsible for handling the inbound and outbound shipments, and customs clearance, of approximately 200 films from 30 different countries. More importantly, as a Gold Sponsor, FedEx Korea will award a special prize called the ‘FedEx Prize.’ The ‘FedEx Prize’ worth one million Won will be awarded to a director with an outstanding film at this international competition.
FedEx Korea, known for its speedy and accurate delivery service, has supported numerous major art programs as the official carrier, including the Busan International Film Festival (BIFF), the Korea International Art Fair (KIAF), the Asia Top Gallery Hotel Art Fair (AHAF), the Seoul International Film Festival (SIYFF), and the Seoul International Family Film Festival(SIFFF).
