FedEx Kinko’s Expands Presence in Shanghai

SHANGHAI, Oct. 24, 2007 - FedEx Kinko’s Office and Print Services, Inc. (“FedEx Kinko’s”), an operating company of FedEx Corp. (NYSE: FDX), today announced the official opening of its seventh and eighth stores in Shanghai.

The two new stores are located in Zhuyuan Commercial and Trade Zone in the Pudong New Area and Xu Jiahui Commercial Center in Puxi.

The move, part of FedEx Kinko’s plan to open 12 new locations in China by June 2008, will help meet the growing demands of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and mobile professionals.

As the only industry brand that offers 24/7 SME business solutions, FedEx Kinko’s Office and Print Services complement the full range of FedEx time-definite global express shipping services. With the addition of these two stores, the FedEx Kinko’s network will cover most primary business areas in Shanghai and provide a one-stop shop for document solutions and business services.

“These new locations are an integral part of our overall strategy to provide SMEs and mobile professionals with even greater access to our office and print services, as well as the FedEx transportation network,” said James Brigance, vice president, FedEx Kinko’s Asia Pacific. “The SME sector is a growth engine of the Chinese economy, and more mobile professionals can be found nationwide. FedEx Kinko’s is precisely positioned to support that growth. We aim to continue to be the back office for small businesses and the branch office for mobile professionals.”

According to the 2005 SME Development Report, jointly conducted by China Statistics Bureau and the State Development and Reform Committee, SMEs account for more than 99% of China’s total enterprises, contribute to 55% of the country’s GDP, and employ 75% of the workforce in cities and towns.

Currently, FedEx Kinko’s has seventeen locations in China, including six locations in Beijing, eight in Shanghai, one in Guangzhou and two in Shenzhen. Moreover, FedEx Kinko’s plans to open nine more locations in China by June 2008, bringing the total number of stores to twenty-six.
