FedEx Improves Customer Experience By Extending Call-in Cut-off Time for Shipments From Ho Chi Minh City and Neighboring Provinces

HO CHI MINH CITY, October 09, 2012– FedEx Express, the world’s largest express transportation company and a subsidiary of FedEx Corp. (NYSE:FDX), has extended the call-in cut-off time for shipments from Ho Chi Minh City and neighboring provinces, giving customers additional time, flexibility and convenience when preparing their shipments.

The new call-in cut-off time for all types of shipments (excluding shipments to trans-Pacific destinations using FedEx International Priority® (IP) to world-wide destinations is 16:00 in selected areas in Ho Chi Minh City and 14:00 in Long An and Tay Ninh provinces.

For shipments from Ho Chi Minh City to trans-Pacific destinations using FedEx IP, the company’s premium overnight delivery service, the new call-in cut-off time is 19:00.

This latest improvement to FedEx service follows other upgrades introduced at the end of last year:

· In November 2011, FedEx launched a new flight to and from Hanoi four times a week (Tuesday to Friday), which improved the transit time for outbound shipments from Hanoi by one business day;

· In December, FedEx improved transit and cut-off times for outbound shipments from Hai Phong city as well as extending cut-off times by up to 2.5 hours in selected areas in Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong, Dong Nai and Long An.
