BANGKOK, January 18, 2019 - FedEx Express (FedEx), a subsidiary of FedEx Corp (NYSE:FDX) and the world’s largest express transportation company, recently received Gold level recognition for the 12th consecutive year at the American Chamber of Commerce (AMCHAM) Thailand Corporate Social Responsibility Excellence Recognition Awards (ACE).

To qualify for ACE recognition, a company’s corporate social responsibility programs must demonstrate a strong link between business operations and the local community, while conducting business in a way that creates long-term economic and social value.

In Thailand, FedEx supports socially responsible programs that align with its business strengths including the FedEx Safe Kids Walk This Way road safety advocacy program, FedEx/Junior Achievement International Trade Challenge, a youth entrepreneurship program, and FedEx/AMCHAM Career Camp, an employment pathway program. In addition, FedEx team members from around the world volunteer their time and talents to support these programs in addition to celebrating the annual FedEx Cares campaign.

FedEx Cares is the company’s global giving platform through which FedEx will invest US$200 million in more than 200 global communities by 2020 to create opportunities and deliver positive change around the world. Local volunteers supplement and enrich these community investments.
