FedEx Express and the Vodafone McLaren Mercedes Team were both built on the same set of values: leadership, teamwork, integrity, and a commitment to “be the best”. The proposed arrangement entitles FedEx to prominently display its logo on the collar of the team’s drivers overalls making it visible to a world-wide monitored audience of 2.75 billion viewers.

The McLaren Formula One team was formed in 1963 by New Zealander Bruce McLaren and scored its first race win in 1968. Since then it has achieved un-precedented success in Formula One racing. This success includes a record 11 Drivers’ World Championship titles, eight Constructor’s World Championships, the highest number of double race wins (14) of any pair of Formula One drivers and the most grand prix wins in a season (15 out of 16).
