FedEx Express Latin America and Caribbean Division Responds to Exceptional Regional Growth by Strengthening Sales Team

FedEx Express, the world’s largest express transportation and global logistics solutions provider, recently appointed Steven Goddard as its new Vice President of Sales for the Latin America and Caribbean Division, reporting to Juan Cento. Effective immediately, Mr. Goddard will be based in the company’s Latin America and Caribbean Division headquarters located in Miami .


Mr. Goddard has been with FedEx for 16 years, having held various Sales Director positions over the past nine years. His assignments have included work in Mexico , Brazil and Argentina . Most recently, he led the Worldwide Sales (WWS) International Overlay Team, driving international revenue growth. A trilingual professional, Mr. Goddard has a strong track record of developing teams, implementing strategic initiatives and delivering solid results.


To address exceptional performance and regional growth, FedEx Express Latin America and Caribbean Division has implemented additional changes to its sales leadership teams.


Anizia Barragan was named Managing Director of Global Sales and is headquartered in Miami . Formerly based in Mexico City , Ms. Barragan assumes responsibility for delivering results for the Latin America and Caribbean region through its Global Account Management program. Ms. Barragan leads the global account team throughout the region and the world, driving large customer solutions for FedEx.


Suzanne Garber assumes the Managing Director of Sales Leadership role in the South American Division and has relocated to Brazil from Miami . There she will support market growth strategies and ensure development of the small-to-medium customer base while expanding service offerings for customers in the region.


Raul de La Rosa takes over as Managing Director of Sales in Mexico and has relocated there from Miami to support the strategic growth of small and medium-size businesses, and the expansion of the FedEx cross- border strategy leveraging NAFTA.


Sonia Montes maintains her role as Managing Director for the Caribbean and Central America Division. The Caribbean has traditionally been an important element of the Latin America and Caribbean Division, and has been complemented by growth in Central America over the past year.


Mses. Barragan, Garber, Montes and Mr. de la Rosa will report directly to Mr. Goddard.
