FedEx Express Highest-Ranked Logistics Company In Asia-Pacific Survey of Top 1,000 Brands

HONG KONG, July 3, 2014 – For the third year in a row, FedEx Express (FedEx), a subsidiary of FedEx Corp. (NYSE: FDX) and the world’s largest express transportation company, continues its first-place ranking among all logistics players in the region, according to the Asia-Pacific Top 1000 Brands 2014 survey. The survey evaluates consumer attitudes toward a brand.

Overall, FedEx Express ranked 57th among the 1000 brands in the survey.

“By focusing on fast and reliable delivery for every package in our network, we’ve established an outstanding consumer reputation in Asia Pacific,” said David L. Cunningham Jr., president, Asia Pacific, FedEx Express. “Coming in first among our industry peers in the market is indeed a significant achievement that the entire team can be proud of.”

Recent creative campaigns played a role in FedEx ranking as an industry leader. In November 2013, FedEx unveiled “FedEx. Solutions Powered by People.” – a multimarket campaign which included print and online advertising, search engine marketing, out-of-home and mobile channels. In the online space, the fully digital campaign “Discover FedEx S”, launched in April 2014, was underpinned by a series of lighthearted animated videos, which paralleled everyday experiences to their real-life delivery challenges and brought to life the passionate people behind FedEx solutions.

The Asia’s Top 1000 Brands study is based on an online survey developed by Campaign Asia-Pacific and global information and insights provider Nielsen. The study explores consumer attitudes in 13 markets across Asia Pacific. The ranking of the brands were ascertained based on responses to questions that asked the respondent to name the first and second best brand that comes to their mind in a category. The results were then weighted to reflect the age, gender and monthly household income representative of the general population.
