FedEx Express Enhances Customer Experience with FedEx Ship Manager Lite, the New Mobile Shipping Solution

Hong Kong SAR, China, May 4, 2021 — FedEx Express, a subsidiary of FedEx Corp. (NYSE: FDX) and one of the world’s largest express transportation companies, has launched a new mobile shipping solution in Hong Kong for guest shippers to prepare single-package shipments with greater ease and flexibility.

FedEx Ship Manager Lite is a web-based mobile shipping solution providing non-account shippers who are dropping off shipments at FedEx Stations and World Service Centers (WSC) the convenience of preparing shipments without filling out a paper air waybill and printing shipping labels and commercial invoices. Guest shippers can easily fill out their shipment information and create a shipment reference QR code using their smart devices. By presenting this QR code to station agents, they can easily drop off their shipments at FedEx stations as well as WSC.

“At FedEx, we always listen to our customers and strive to add value to the customer experience. With the rapid development of cross-border e-commerce, there has been a fast-growing demand for more ease of use when it comes to preparing shipments”, said Anthony Leung, managing director, FedEx Express Hong Kong and Macau. “This new shipping option offers our guest shippers an innovative mobile shipping experience. It also demonstrates our commitment to sustainability with an ultimate goal of zero paper airway bills.”

FedEx Ship Manager Lite is now available for guest shippers in Hong Kong and will soon be extended to shippers who settle payments through a FedEx account. Additionally, in the upcoming months, FedEx will offer a further enhanced personalized experience for repeat shippers.
