FedEx Express Breaks Ground on New FedEx Gateway at Malpensa International Airport

FedEx Express, the world’s largest express transportation company and a subsidiary of FedEx Corp. (NYSE: FDX), and Italy’s SEA airport authority announced today that they have officially broken ground on a new FedEx gateway facility at Malpensa International Airport (MXP) outside of Milan, Italy. At 35,000 square meters, this new state-of-the-art “mini hub” will be three times the size of the current FedEx facility, making it the company’s third largest cargo hub in Europe, behind Paris CDG and Cologne.
