FedEx Establishes Environmental Responsibility Committee in Brazil

In order to improve the environmental awareness of our employees in Brazil , FedEx Express established an environmental responsibility committee, which sets internal procedures and promotes environmental policies.

Every month a newsletter is distributed with consumption tips and guidelines that address issues such as recycling, water conservation, the reuse of materials and global warming, among other topics.

In addition, FedEx Brazil uses recycled paper for client invoices, employ a very strict system of internal control for vehicle engine emissions, and a system that separates water that can be reused from the water that is contaminated by residues of chemical products.

FedEx also recycles all toners and batteries used in the Brazil plants and collects and disposes of used engine oil in an environmentally conscious man.
