FedEx Enhances Service in Southern Taiwan

TAIPEI, May 10, 2011 - FedEx Express, a subsidiary of FedEx Corp. (NYSE: FDX) and one of the world’s largest express transportation companies, today announced that with immediate effect, the cut-off time for outbound FedEx International Priority (IP) and FedEx International Economy (IE)shipments fromselectedcities/districts in southern Taiwan will be extended. The latest call-in cut-off time for shipments from these areas will be extended to as late as 5:00pm for same-day uplift*.

This service enhancement will benefit customers from Long Gin, Sa Lu, Wu Chu, Chin Suei in Taichung City, Niaosong Township in Kaohsiung City, and Ping Tung Export Processing Zone. With the greater flexibility and convenience offered by the adjusted cut-off time, Taiwan businesses can enjoy more efficient, competitive access to international markets.

Customers in Sin Yin and Ma Dou will also benefit from improved service. These areas are now direct-served by FedEx and outbound packages will be able to depart Taiwan on a same-day flight.
