MANILA, PHILIPPINES— FedEx Express, the world’s largest express transportation company and a subsidiary of FedEx Corp. (NYSE:FDX), recently delivered year-end cheer to children in Paranaque through a series of charitable giving activities.
John Peterson, FedEx Express Philippines managing director, led more than 750 FedEx team members, customers, and their families to raise nearly P96,000 for the Saint Rita Orphanage, a home for orphaned, abandoned, and surrendered children, through the first FedEx Fun Run.
FedEx team members delivered more happiness to these children by donating toys and holding a year-end party at the Saint Rita Orphanage.
FedEx team members also raised funds to donate toys, groceries, and two smart TVs to benefit 70 grade school students of Tambo Elementary School.
These activities showcase FedEx team members living the Purple Promise of making every FedEx experience outstanding for our communities as part of our FedEx Cares 50 by 50 goal to positively impact 50 million people around the world by our 50th global anniversary in 2023.
