SEOUL, July 29, 2019 – To celebrate its sponsorship of the Kiwoom Heroes, FedEx Express, a subsidiary of FedEx Corp. (NYSE: FDX) and the world’s largest express transportation company, hosted “FedEx Day” on July 27th at the 2019 KBO (Korea Baseball Organization) League game against the NC Dinos.
Eun-Mi Chae, managing director, FedEx Express Korea, kicked-off the game by throwing the ceremonial first pitch to a FedEx employee who served as the batter. FedEx guests at Seoul’s Gocheok Sky Dome included 700 small and medium-size enterprise customers and FedEx employees.
FedEx announced its sponsorship of the Kiwoom Heroes for the second year in a row on March 20, 2019. Throughout the 2019 KBO League baseball season, FedEx customers are invited to join them for the Kiwoom home games.
