FedEx Chairman, President and CEO urges WTO to complete trade facilitation agreement

FedEx Chairman, President and CEO Frederick W. Smith joined with the International Chamber of Commerce and business leaders of multinational companies from 30 countries to strongly urge the World Trade Organization to finalize the trade facilitation agreement at the ministerial meeting in Bali this week. The WTO trade facilitation agreement would promote global trade by reducing administrative costs and delays at the border, and is estimated to add over $1 trillion to the global economy.
