FedEx Chairman and CEO Frederick W. Smith appeared on Wednesday on “Power Lunch” on CNBC. Mr. Smith discussed topics covered in his recent speech to the Council on Competitiveness, including support for tax reform and investment in infrastructure as ways to spur American innovation and economic growth.
FedEx feels strongly that America needs tax reform which provides stability, certainty and increased economic opportunity in the United States. Tackling tax reform is critical to spurring job creation and providing a level playing field for American businesses and workers to compete in today’s global economy.
