FedEx Celebrates 40 Years in Thailand, Underscoring Commitment to Empowering Businesses and the Community

Bangkok – 22  June 2022 – FedEx Express, a subsidiary of FedEx Corp. (NYSE:FDX) and one of the world’s largest express transportation companies, marked an important milestone in Thailand this year with 40 years of service. As part of the 40th anniversary celebrations, FedEx Express is offering new customers exciting promotions from now until 31 December 2022. New users who start shipping within seven days of signing up and continue to ship for up to four months can stand a chance to receive up to 4,000 Thai Baht in vouchers.

Since 1983, FedEx has invested in Thai businesses and communities while working hard to strengthen its support for local small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with enhanced services and a robust network. The company has facilitated an improved customer experience by offering more automated ways of shipping through services like FedEx Ship Manager™.

FedEx has also strengthened its e-commerce offerings by expanding the international day-definite delivery service FedEx International Connect Plus (FICP), and enhanced digital tools which allow users to submit custom documents electronically through FedEx Electronic Trade Documents (ETD), and FedEx Billing Online (FBO) to improve the overall shipping experience in terms of speed and efficiency.


Committing to Local Communities and More Sustainable Operations

This year, FedEx Thailand is launching its first zero-tailpipe emissions electric vehicles for use as part of the EarthSmart Program to reduce its impact on the environment and as part of the global FedEx goal to achieve carbon-neutral operations by 2040.

The company is also continuing its long-term commitment to support local communities through its FedEx Cares initiatives such as a collaboration with World Vision Foundation of Thailand, and the FedEx Express/Junior Achievement International Trade Challenge (ITC) Asia Pacific, a youth entrepreneurship education program.
