FedEx Canada Flies High with CF-18 Air Demonstration Team

TORONTO , Canada June 04, 2004 – Federal Express Corp. (“FedEx Express”), the world’s largest express transportation company, is pleased to sponsor the CF18 Hornet aircraft demonstration team for the 2004 Canadian airshow season. It is FedEx’s second year supporting the Canadian Air Force team, and the company is a longstanding supporter of airshows across Canada .

This year, the Canadian Air Force celebrates its 80th Anniversary. This occasion offers the opportunity to celebrate the Canadian Forces’ significant contribution to peace and security around the world.

“The CF-18 is one of the world’s finest multi-role jet fighters, able to carry out a myriad of air to air and air to ground missions. It is currently undergoing a major modernization program that will ensure the jet’s operational viability until the 2017 - 2020 time frame.
