FedEx and UBIFRANCE sign a partnership to promote the development of French companies abroad

Paris, June 28, 2007 – Since March 14th, 2007, FedEx Express, a subsidiary of FedEx Corp (NYSE: FDX) and UBIFRANCE, the French agency for the international development of companies, have formed a partnership to spur French companies to conquer new markets abroad.

The partnership has a double objective: to create an offer of support abroad for FedEx’s customers and prospects by relying on the expertise of UBIFRANCE, to complement FedEx’s offering of international express transport, and secondly to promote FedEx throughout the UBIFRANCE network and the economic missions. The partnership will also give FedEx the opportunity to take part in forums and seminars of UBIFRANCE’s 2007 Program as well as in regional events in partnership with CCIs (Chambers of Commerce and Industry) or Economic Missions. For the first year of the partnership, FedEx has decided to focus on its operations in North America and Asia. The company also undertakes to promote UBIFRANCE’s services to its customers, by disclosing information in its newsletter, on its Website or in its brochure.

“This partnership is part of FedEx’s global growth policy, as the company is keen to promote trade between France and foreign countries. We believe that this public-private association, based on a combination of our skills and pooled efforts and initiatives, will allow us to strengthen support for our exporting customers,” says Alain Chaillé, Vice-President of Operations in Southern Europe at FedEx.
