FedEx Strengthens its Presence in Brest with New Facility Opening

Brest, April 24, 2025, Federal Express Corporation, the world’s largest express transportation company, today announces the official opening of a new facility in Brest, strengthening its position in the region due to its strategic location near the city centre. The new infrastructure, improves the speed and efficiency of pick-up and deliveries across the entire Northern Brittany region.

The new facility will include new features to enhance the services for its customers as well as improve the working environment for employees. The latest-generation automatic sorter allows parcels to be sorted and scanned more efficiently, reducing processing. This is supported by the facility’s location near local industries and small businesses, served by 29 pick-up and delivery routes, enabling earlier departures after processing. It also includes a more efficient sorting space of over 1,500 square metres, dedicated offices, a customer reception area, a break room, changing rooms, and a control room.

This modernization allows for a long-term sustainable solution for potential growth in years to come in the area.
