FedEx Express, a subsidiary of FedEx Corp. (NYSE: FDX) and the world’s largest express transportation company, is stepping up its commitment to increasing delivery convenience and flexibility for its customers in Poland. Polish customers now have access to over 4,000 collection points throughout the country, making it easier to receive their shipments.

FedEx has significantly expanded its network in Poland through strategic alliances with key market players. Customers can now conveniently collect their shipments at multiple points operated by Kolporter, Epaka, and Furgonetka. Furthermore, FedEx has strengthened its collaboration with Pointpack S.A., adding more collection points at selected retail chains like Delikatesy Centrum, ABC, Groszek, Duży Ben, Stokrotka Express and Shell.

The expansion comes in response to the changing expectations of Polish customers. With 77% of the 30 million people[1] with Internet access in Poland shopping online, the demand for flexible and convenient delivery options is growing. FedEx understands these evolving needs and aims to provide tailored solutions. By offering out-of-home delivery options, customers can pick up their orders at a time and place convenient for them. Through FedEx Delivery Manager®, customers can also easily customize their deliveries by sending packages to nearby FedEx locations and receiving timely updates.

“Our top priority is providing a smooth and customer-focused experience, which is why we offer out-of-home delivery options that allow customers to customize their deliveries based on their busy schedules,” says Mariusz Mik, Vice President Ground Operations Eastern Europe, FedEx Express. “But we also recognize the importance of logistics for e-traders. Flexible delivery options can make or break their business, and we understand its impact on consumer decisions,” he adds.

According to a survey, 71% of European online shoppers will choose one online store over another if they offer flexible delivery options [2]. Additionally, 45% of online shoppers prefer returning items themselves at drop-off points rather than arranging for pick-up services[3].

“Embracing a vast delivery portfolio has become a game-changer for e-commerce companies. By offering diverse delivery options through the extensive FedEx network, businesses can captivate their clients and elevate their e-shops. The ability to provide flexible and convenient delivery choices enhances customer satisfaction and fosters brand loyalty in today’s competitive online marketplace.” – Mariusz Mik adds.

With access to the expansive network of over 40,000 FedEx locations across Europe and, 261 000+ worldwide, e-tailers can leverage FedEx extensive delivery network to create a compelling and customer-centric shopping experience, which might lead to increased interest and loyalty not only from their current clients but help them to tap into new markets and reach a broader customer base.
