Environmental Sustainability Championed Across Asia Pacific During FedEx Cares Week 2010

Taipei, Sept. 16, 2010 – FedEx Express (FedEx), a subsidiary of FedEx Corp. (NYSE: FDX) and the world’s largest express transportation company, marks its annual FedEx Cares Week - a celebration of volunteerism at FedEx - in the Asia Pacific from September 11-18. Into its third year in the region, FedEx is supporting activities that will enhance the environment.

Over 900 FedEx volunteers in 12 Asia markets including Australia, mainland China, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, New Zealand, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam will take part in 34 community activities in 28 cities. During the week, the volunteers will commit to a range of community activities, from coastal clean up activities, bush regeneration programs, waste recycling to environmental education for school children. First launched in the U.S. in 2005, FedEx Cares Week will be celebrated on September 17 – 25 in the U.S., Europe, and the Latin America/ Caribbean region.
