End of quotas for textile industry

Paris - 1 janvier 2005 - On 1 January 2005, the World Trade Organisation (WTO) removed the barriers to the regulated importation of textiles and clothing products into the USA. The abolition of textile quotas for WTO countries will simplify and accelerate importation into America. Customs clearance still requires shippers to prepare special documents such as the “Textile Declaration”.
