Yesterday, recently confirmed U.S. Department of Transportation Secretary Anthony Foxx, U.S. Representative Steve Cohen and Memphis Mayor A. C. Wharton visited FedEx Corporation’s World Hub. FedEx officials including President and CEO FedEx Express David Bronczek welcomed the group and led them on a tour of the Global Operations Center and the hub facility. The group discussed how FedEx tracks and delivers nearly 10 million packages around the world each day, powering world economic growth by supporting both small businesses and the global supply chain. Their evening visit allowed them to experience the FedEx Express “SuperHub” come alive and witness the activity at the height of the evening package sort.
