Bangkok, Thailand, October 17 2022 – FedEx Express, a subsidiary of FedEx Corp. (NYSE: FDX) and one of the world’s largest express transportation companies, was recognized for the second consecutive year as one of the Best Companies to Work For in Asia 2022, by HR Asia.

FedEx received an outstanding 90% response to the Total Engagement Assessment Model (TEAM) survey. This focused employee engagement survey – TEAM, covered a range of topics providing organizations with insights into employee expectations around their work experience.

Survey results put FedEx above the industry’s average in all categories. These results reflect the FedEx commitment to its people-first philosophy and building a culture which promotes diversity, safety and equality in the workplace.

In the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic, FedEx Express Thailand ensured an effective framework to support employees’ well-being and mental health by offering counselling through its Employee Assistance Program called ‘Kajit Kajai’ and enhancing medical insurance benefits to cover treatment for mental illness.

The company makes continuous efforts to establish a strong and diverse workforce. At FedEx Express Thailand, women represent 52% of management, with 97% of managers having risen through the ranks and an average tenure of 16 years.

“In the last 40 years of our presence in Thailand, we remain committed to our People-Service-Profit (P-S-P) philosophy and continue to build a positive, rewarding work environment that nurtures team member’s personal and professional growth,” said Woon Tien Long, managing director, FedEx Express Thailand. “Commitment to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, is embedded not only in our recruiting, but also in our relationships with community, suppliers and charitable organizations.

“Our vision for a diverse and inclusive environment is a workplace where differences are embraced and leveraged as strengths, and woven throughout the organization,” added Woon.

HR Asia, Asia’s authoritative publication for Human Resource professionals, in conjunction with Business Media International, has been running the TEAM survey for nearly a decade. This survey has grown to become one of the largest employee engagement surveys across Asia today. At present, it has surpassed 2 million participants in major Asian markets such as Cambodia, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Korea, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Taiwan, India and Vietnam.
