FedEx Demonstrates it Aerospace Expertise in Japan Through Global Ad Campaign

Providing logistics support to supply parts to service life-saving Doctor Helicopter


TOKYO, May 10, 2017 – As part of its global advertising campaign in major markets, FedEx Express, a subsidiary of FedEx Corp. (NYSE: FDX), introduced a new video about the FedEx transport solution for Aero Asahi Corporation, a provider of aviation and spatial information services.

The advertising campaign features short videos of customers using FedEx services in different markets around the world. This film is part of the series of videos and features Tokyo-based Aero Asahi Corporation, which provides emergency medical helicopter services to hospitals 365 days a year. Weather conditions permitting, the Doctor Helicopter must be operationally safe and ready to respond immediately when needed. Aircraft maintenance is vitally important. When repairs require parts from outside the country, those parts must be delivered in a timely fashion to the location where the helicopter operates. The film shares how FedEx ships these parts to meet the Doctor Helicopter’s urgent requirements.
