This award acknowledges the company’s dedication to a sustainable supply chain in China. As a pioneer in sustainable logistics, FedEx has set a goal to achieve carbon-neutral operations globally by 2040. To achieve this goal, the company has taken a multitude of measures, including vehicle electrification, energy efficiency adaptation, paperless shipping, sustainable facilities, and innovative automation technologies to reduce carbon emissions in its operations. Additionally, the company has established an internal Environmental Sustainability Project Team dedicated to sustainable development progress specifically in its operations in China.

“For nearly 40 years in China, FedEx has actively engaged in the stable growth of the Chinese economy and society, with a focus on expanding sustainable development, and other key fields. This award recognizes our sustainable development in China, and it encourages us to keep following the path of sustainability,” said Robert Chu, vice president of FedEx China. “We will continue to promote and implement energy-saving and emission reduction initiatives, leading the logistics industry to build sustainable supply chains and create a sustainable future for our customers and the community.”

In addition, FedEx provides sustainable solutions to its customers through digitized shipping services and reusable packaging solutions. To expand its sustainability efforts, it is cooperating with environmental and non-profit organizations to jointly create a blueprint for a greener future.
