SEOUL, Korea, September 20, 2023 — FedEx Express, a subsidiary of FedEx Corp. (NYSE: FDX) and one of the world’s largest express transportation companies, teamed up with non-profit ChildFund Korea to deliver care packages containing eco-friendly school supplies and daily necessities to less fortunate children.
On September 16th, a team of 73 volunteers, consisting of FedEx employees and their families, put together 500 care packages containing a bamboo toothbrush, toothpaste, and case, natural soap for face and body, bamboo towel, upcycled mini eco-friendly bag, multivitamins and a stationary set. FedEx and ChildFund Korea will deliver these to elementary students from low-income families or socially vulnerable backgrounds across the country including Seoul, Gyeonggi, Busan, Chungcheong and Gyeongsang.
