FedEx Sponsors ATP Shanghai Masters for Third Year
“We are very honored to play an important role in the ATP Shanghai Masters for the third year in a row,” said Eddy Chan, head of China, FedEx Express. “The ATP Shanghai Masters offers FedEx and the professional tennis players a live platform to demonstrate our shared attributes of speed, precision and reliability.”
For ATP fans attending the tournament, the FedEx booth will have a large world map marked with different cities on display, which will serve as the basis for interactive games through which participants can win prizes. The official FedEx micro-blog (http://weibo.com/fedexcn) will launch a series of ATP activities including inviting tennis fans to upload pictures and posts for the FedEx sponsored shuttle bus service as well as onsite photos featuring the FedEx brand. Participants in the micro-blog activities are eligible for special ATP Shanghai Masters gifts.
Also at the ATP Shanghai Masters, FedEx and Hands On Shanghai, a local non-profit organization, will conduct a special tennis clinic for children of migrant workers. These 10 -12 year-olds will have the chance to learn tennis basics from professional tennis coaches and cultivate an interest in tennis with FedEx volunteers.
