FedEx Launches New Digital Campaign to Promote Badminton

BEIJING, April 16th, 2012—FedEx Express (FedEx), a subsidiary of FedEx Corp. (NYSE: FDX) and one of the world’s largest express transportation companies, today launched a new “How to Play Badminton Like a Pro: Learn from The World Champions” digital video campaign. As official partner of the China Badminton Team (CBT), FedEx will exclusively launch the online video series on its official campaign website to promote the game of badminton among fans and the general public. Another FedEx goal of the digital campaign is to inspire people to give all of their best wishes to the CBT and cheer them on to win new championship titles during this year’s London 2012 Olympic Games.

From April 16th until the end of June, FedEx will launch 22 badminton skills educational video episodes on its official website featuring 14 extremely famous and popular CBT athletes including Lin Dan, Wang Yihan, Fu Haifeng, and Cai Yun. The video series offer a great way to enhance people’s badminton game by teaching them skills from entry to expert level. FedEx will also offer lucky draws during the campaign so participants will have the chance to win autographed memorabilia from these renowned CBT athletes.
