FedEx Korea to hold JA Trading Challenge Competition

FedEx Express, the world’s largest express transportation company announced that it would hold a nationwide Junior Achievement (JA) trading challenge competition for high school students.


Any high school student can participate in the FedEx-JA trading challenge competition by submitting an essay on a competitive business item in the global market. Students can submit their essay alone or as a two-member team. Participants should send their English essay in the first round. The final round will have the participants make a presentation and engage in group discussions. The three winning teams will have the opportunity to participate in the JA International Trading Challenge which will be held in Hong Kong with other students from Australia and Hong Kong who are selected through the same process in this August.


The applicants should submit a free-style essay in English on a competitive business item with self-introductions and cover letters between June 11 and 28 via mail or email. The criteria such as foresight for the global market and idea creativity is applied in the first screening and finalists are selected through a presentation and group discussion screening.
