SEOUL, South Korea, March 25
, 2026 — Federal Express Corporation (FedEx), one of the world’s largest express transportation companies, today announced the extension of its sponsorship with Korea’s K League for the 2026 season. The renewed agreement reinforces the company’s long-term commitment to the Korean market, strengthening brand visibility, customer engagement and community connection through one of the country’s most followed sporting platforms. With this extension, FedEx continues as the league’s only international logistics company to be a sponsor, marking the fourth consecutive year of collaboration.
As part of the 2026 sponsorship, FedEx will introduce the “FedEx Delivery of the Month” award for the first time. From March through October, the top three assists from both K League 1 and K League 2 matches will be selected each month, with fans invited to vote for the best player. The winning player will receive KRW 1 million and a commemorative trophy.
The award is inspired by the precision, speed and teamwork behind a successful football assist—qualities that closely reflect the role of FedEx in enabling fast and reliable deliveries for customers across Korea and around the world.
“We are delighted to extend our collaboration for a fourth consecutive year,” said Wonbin Park, managing director, FedEx Korea. “This collaboration aligns closely with our values and our commitment to staying connected to the Korean market – engaging fans, customers and communities across the country. The “FedEx Delivery of the Month” award brings those values to life through the game, while creating memorable experiences for fans and customers alike.
“We are very pleased to continue our collaboration with FedEx for the fourth consecutive year,” said Yeon-sang Jo, Secretary-General of K League. “Together with FedEx, we will continue to expand fan-engagement initiatives that enhance the league experience, including the newly introduced ‘FedEx Delivery of the Month’ award.”
In addition, FedEx will continue its stadium safety campaign at Anyang Sports Complex and Incheon Football Stadium in 2026. The initiative reflects the FedEx ongoing commitment to community well-being by promoting a safe and enjoyable match-viewing environment through emergency evacuation signages and safety awareness materials throughout the stadiums.
Since the collaboration began, FedEx has sponsored six K League 1 clubs in 2023, followed by four K League 1 clubs in both 2024 and 2025. In 2024, FedEx also donated KRW 40 million to K League Assist, the league’s social contribution arm, to support initiatives aimed at improving football stadium safety.
