FedEx Expands Presence at SEMICON Taiwan 2026

Powering AI Supply Chain Growth Through Global Capacity and Intelligent Logistics

FedEx Expands Presence at SEMICON Taiwan 2026

TAIPEI, September 2, 2026 — Federal Express Corporation (FedEx), one of the world’s largest express transportation companies, is expanding its presence at SEMICON Taiwan 2026 at Booth R8212, reinforcing its commitment to supporting the rapid growth of global artificial intelligence (AI) infrastructure and the semiconductor industry.

Under the theme “We Move the Technology That Moves the World,” FedEx is demonstrating how its global network and intelligent supply chain solutions help customers overcome complex logistics challenges and enable the seamless movement of high-value, time-critical shipments that power today’s AI-driven economy.

The exhibit highlights how FedEx supports every stage of the AI supply chain, serving semiconductor equipment manufacturers, wafer fabrication facilities, electronics manufacturing services providers, and hyperscale data centers. Visitors can explore four key capabilities that help address the industry’s most critical logistics demands: Speed & Resilience, Reliability & Quality, Security & Integrity, and Intelligence & Visibility.

According to the World Semiconductor Trade Statistics (WSTS), the global semiconductor market reached US$702 billion in the first half of 2026, representing a 102% year-over-year increase[1]. WSTS also forecasts global semiconductor revenue to exceed US$1.655 trillion in 2026. As demand for AI technologies continues to accelerate, Taiwan remains a cornerstone of the global semiconductor ecosystem. Data from Taiwan’s Market Intelligence & Consulting Institute (MIC) shows that Taiwanese manufacturers account for approximately 63% of global advanced semiconductor manufacturing capacity below 7 nanometers,[2] underscoring the island’s leadership in the global semiconductor supply chain.

“AI is reshaping semiconductor supply chains and raising expectations for logistics performance,” said Paul Sousa, managing director of FedEx Taiwan.” Today, customers need more than the movement of goods. They need speed, visibility, security, and resilience across increasingly complex global supply chains. As Taiwan continues to play a pivotal role in the global AI ecosystem, FedEx remains committed to helping customers connect innovation to global markets through our worldwide network, specialized expertise, and intelligent supply chain solutions.”

To help customers navigate the logistics demands of AI infrastructure and advanced manufacturing, FedEx is showcasing its end-to-end freight capabilities at SEMICON Taiwan. From lightweight components to large-scale industrial equipment, FedEx supports shipments of all sizes with solutions tailored to both routine and time-critical transportation requirements.

For large-scale projects or urgent shipping needs, FedEx Chartered Air Freight provides customized charter solutions, including dedicated loadmasters, specialized security measures, and time-definite same-day or next-day delivery options. These capabilities help customers move critical shipments globally with greater flexibility and confidence.

FedEx is also demonstrating how it combines physical logistics with digital technologies to enhance shipment visibility and risk management. FedEx Surround® Monitoring and Intervention (MI)[3], powered by SenseAware ID sensors and advanced analytics, provides near real-time shipment visibility, AI-driven delay predictions, weather alerts, and 24/7 monitoring and intervention services to help identify and address potential risks before they escalate.

In support of SEMICON Taiwan’s focus on sustainable manufacturing, FedEx is showcasing initiatives designed to help customers build more sustainable supply chains. Visitors can learn more about FedEx® Sustainability Insights, which provides shipment-level carbon emissions visibility[4] to support greater transparency and more informed environmental decision-making.

Additionally, FedEx highlights its ongoing investments in sustainable aviation fuel (SAF), electric delivery vehicles, and renewable energy initiatives, as well as its commitment to achieving carbon-neutral operations globally by 2040. Through these efforts, FedEx aims to help customers advance innovation while supporting their sustainability objectives.
